FAQ

Our most commonly asked questions and answers.

Q: How much do lessons cost?
A: Our lessons are currently $26.00 per lesson. This is a half-hour private lesson. There is a one time registration fee of $25.00. We recommend that students pay by the month. The rate for 4 lessons is $104.00

Q: How many lessons do I take each week?
A: One lesson a week is normal for most students. This allows you to have enough time to practice and prepare for your next lesson.

Q: Can I take more than one lesson a week?
A: Once a week is often considered enough. If your teacher feels you need more time, they may suggest a one hour lesson, instead of a half hour.

Q: Must I bring my own instrument?
A: It is always best to take your lesson on your own instrument. If you have a problem occasionally bringing it, we do have some instruments available to use. Wind instruments must always be brought.

Q: What if I miss a lesson?
A: You will no longer be able to give a 24 hour notice for call outs unless it is an extreme emergency, and/or is approved by the administrative staff of the school. You are expected to show up at the scheduled time. However, if you are unable to attend your lesson, please give us a courtesy call so we can notify the teacher.

Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Minimum starting age varies from instrument to instrument. There is no maximum age, we welcome adult beginners.

We hope this this has been of help to you and we welcome any further questions regarding our school.
